ORLANDO, Fla. - - Former Belmont University men's basketball standout Ian Clark (Memphis, Tenn.) continued his fine play Monday in the NBA Summer League.
After scoring a team-high 15 points in 16 minutes off the bench for the Miami Heat Sunday against Utah, Clark earned a starting role in Monday's contest against the Brooklyn Nets.
Clark did not disappoint, scoring 19 points in a team-high 32 minutes.
The versatile guard showcased his all-around game, scoring nine points in the first four minutes of the game while playing both point guard and shooting guard.
After a team-high 14 points at halftime, Clark added five more points early in the third quarter.?
The Memphis, Tenn. native added three steals and two assists.
Miami won 93-86.
Clark and the Heat return to action Tuesday against host Orlando.
